Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1Preheat oven to 350F (175C).
- 2Mix butter into mashed bananas.
- 3Mix in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla.
- 4Sprinkle in baking soda and salt and mix.
- 5Add flour and mix until just combined.
- 6Pour into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan.
- 7Bake 55 to 65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- 8Cool in pan for 5 minutes then turn out.
